Pune: Differently-abled students of Apang Kalyankari Shikshan Sanstha in Wanowrie made sky lanterns, lanterns, candles, and gift cards while also managing school studies.

As per further information, differently-abled students of Apang Kalyankari Shikshan Sanstha in Wanowrie make decorative materials for Diwali every year. Many people say that along with scoring good marks, creativr qualities should also be present in students. 

A good example of the same can be seen in the disabled welfare institute in Wanowrie, many students from all over Maharashtra are studying in this institute.

Along with school studies, extracurricular activities are also done here to give scope to children’s talents. Diwali is near and many well-wishers show eagerness to buy materials made by disabled students of this school. Some companies also demand materials from here. With a view to provide them with the care of school studies, the hands of these children have been trained for the creation of various arts and crafts.

Handicrafts, sewing, embroidery, and painting are imparted to the students of the disabled welfare institute. Their ingenuity and the materials made by them attract many people, due to which every item made here is in great demand. The products made by children are sold on the principle of no profit no loss, with the view that children should develop an art appreciation and develop self-confidence in them. Children are appreciated when they get a chance to bring the things made by them to society.

Seeing the happiness on the children’s face is overwhelming and gives immense happiness to the mind. The working president of the organization advocate Muralidhar Kachre stated while giving information about the initiative.
