Madness Machayenge: Duniya ko Hasayenge is a comedy show that is aired on Sony TV. Originally the show was meant to band-aid the hole that Kapil Sharma and his show’s exit from the channel left and was only going to be aired for a limited number of episodes.

However, sources have revealed that the channel might be pulling the plug on Huma Qureshi’s Madness Machayenge prematurely. One of the reasons is that the show has been rating low in TRPs.

Following her successful work on films such as “Monica,” “O My Darling,” “Tarla,” and “Maharani,” actress Huma Qureshi made her television debut on the comedy series “Madness Machayenge: India Ko Hasayenge” as the judge.

Brought in as a temporary replacement of Kapil Sharma’s comedy show after his big shift to Netflix, Madness Machayenge found itself in the middle of a pickle that went beyond TRPs too when renowned director, producer and talk show host Karan Johar took to Instagram to put up an encrypted story, which stated that he felt appalled after seeing a distasteful imitation of himself by a comic on TV on a well known and respected channel.

It happened while he was surfing through television channels with his mother and disheartened him quite a lot because he has been in the film industry for over 25 years. He stated further that this type of mockery is expected of faceless and nameless trolls on social media but it was surprising to see such an instance on a renowned channel; all of this, he said, did not enrage him, rather just upset him and made him sad.

Therefore, one other reason for taking the show off air prematurely is that it has already landed itself in a controversy with a well-known public figure in B-town. As per sources, due to the show’s low TRPs, the channel plans to cancel it soon. Though there is no confirm news yet kn the show from the producer as well as the channel. The project was cancelled even before the predetermined number of episodes could be finished, according to our source, who also stated that the channel had intended the show as a stopgap alternative with a limited number of episodes because they were planning on a far bigger show to fill the void. One of the most popular stand-up comedians is now negotiating with the channel to bring his show there.
