Katrina’s go-to celebrity nutritionist, Shweta Shah, disclosed insights into the actress’s daily diet and lifestyle during an interview with yoga trainer Shhlloka. Shah revealed that Katrina treats food as medicine and is very mindful of her body’s nutritional needs. She understands the importance of consuming the right food and does not follow unsolicited internet advice blindly. Instead, she consults Shah for specific supplements and alternatives, such as juices or iron sources, that suit her body’s needs.

The 41-year-old actress follows a simple diet plan, preferring home-cooked meals over outside food. Regardless of where she goes, Katrina carries homemade food with her. Her self-care routine includes practices common in Indian households, such as oil pulling, nasal cleaning, and shatpavali (taking 100 steps after meals).

Katrina has a pita body type, characterized by a high metabolism, which requires cooling meals. She incorporates black raisins, chewed fennel seeds, and ash gourd juice into her diet. When ash gourd juice is unavailable, she substitutes it with amla juice and mint coriander. The actress starts her day early and consumes two proper meals a day, avoiding the habit of snacking every two hours.

Shah also mentioned that Katrina is content with eating the same type of food consistently. Her diet and grounded self-care practices demonstrate a balance of discipline and mindfulness, contributing to her stunning fitness and health.
