His goal was not just to start an airline, but to create Uttar Pradesh’s first locally-grown airline and make air travel more accessible to ordinary citizens.
Shankh Air was born from this vision. The airline has already received its No Objection Certificate from the Ministry of Civil Aviation and is expected to begin operations in early 2026. According to the plan, the airline will start with a small fleet of three Airbus aircraft. The initial focus will be on connecting Lucknow with major metro cities like Delhi and Mumbai.
