Gaur enters into a residential society in Kothrud
Residents of Mahatma society in Kothrud were shocked to see Gava (Gaur), Indian Bison entering into a bunglow premises.
The officials from Forest department and Pune Municipal Corporation and other animal rescue organisations are pressed into rescuing the animal who has lost his way.
Mukesh Sanas, range forest officer, Pune informed that we have been successful in rescuing it. We shall take further action on treating the animal and leave him in a natur habitat. It is too early to inform from where he might have come into city areas.
Sanas further said, “He might have come from the forest areas around Kothrud. It is too early to identify his age and why and how he came into the city areas.”
