Gaur entered into a residential area dies due to cardiac arrest during rescue operation

Gaur, an Indian Bison who entered into a bunglow premise in Kothrud in Pune succumbed after a six and more hours ordeal of rescuing him. The wild animal was caught by the forest department, fire brigade officials after tranqulising him. He succumbed after he was still being taken to the neighbouring forest area for his release. People who witnessed the whole drama blamed the sad mob psychology which unknowingly created pressure on the animal. Also the rope which tied around his neck must have tighten in the process of catching him, informed a resident.

The animal in an attempt to save from the attacks banged himself on many cars and compound walls which led to bleeding from his nose and mouth area. Since he was scared of the huge crowds gathered to see him he panicked and kept on running faster which exhausted his stamina.
