Grand Bike Rally Organized by Pune Postal Department under Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan
Under the “Har Ghar Tiranga 2.0” campaign, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appealed to the people of the country to participate in the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence by hoisting the tricolor on their homes from 13th August to 15th August. For this, the Indian Postal Department has been entrusted with the important task of delivering the national flag to as many citizens as possible.
As per information, as a part of this campaign, Pune City East Postal Department for public awareness. A bike rally was organized on 11th August. Dr Bharat Ratna from Mahatma Gandhi Road, Pune Camp. The bike rally was started by saluting the statue of Babasaheb Ambedkar. The bike rally concluded at Pune Head Post Office (Pune GPO).
This bike rally was organized under the guidance of Dr Abhijit Ichke, Senior Superintendent, Pune City East Postal Department. A large number of postal department employees and citizens participated spontaneously in this rally. While addressing the closing ceremony, the Superintendent appealed to every citizen to participate in the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence by hoisting the tricolor at their homes.
