Hinjawadi Road Crisis: MP Supriya Sule Steps In, Directs Officials To Resolve Issues

For the past few weeks, there has been a growing demand from locals to merge Hinjawadi Gram Panchayat with the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), citing inadequate facilities. While opinions among residents remain mixed, the IT professionals in the region are firm in their support for this integration.

Sule began her inspection from Phase 1 to Man village road, followed by visits to other critical routes, including:

* Phase 3 Metro Station car shed area

* Phase 3 Megapolis road

* Bhoirwadi road

* Phase 2 near McDonald’s

* Marunji road T-junction

After completing her on-ground inspection, Sule convened a meeting at the Hinjawadi Gram Panchayat office where IT professionals reiterated their complaints about waterlogged streets, unmanaged garbage, and poor road conditions.

It may be recalled that just a few days ago, several roads in Hinjawadi were left resembling rivers due to heavy rains and poor drainage. Sule had taken cognizance of these issues earlier and has now personally intervened to push for solutions.

Residents and IT professionals are hopeful that her intervention will finally lead to well-maintained roads and pothole-free streets in the coming days.
