Illegal Tobacco Shops Near School Demolished in Hadapsar by Pune Police
Pune, January 29, 2025 – Acting on orders from the Pune Police Commissioner, a joint operation was conducted by Senior Inspector Sanjay Mogle, Inspector Nilesh Jagdale, and a special investigation team. In the presence of Assistant Commissioner of Police Anuradha Udamale, officials from the Pune Encroachment Department were called in to take action against unauthorized tobacco stalls near a school on the road behind Magarpatta, Kadvasti. Three shop owners were booked under the relevant provisions of the law, and their stalls were removed. Authorities have reiterated their commitment to enforcing no-tobacco zones near educational institutions.
