Minister Mohol was briefed on the simulator’s features and even experienced a virtual flight. According to Paranjpe, the simulator is entirely designed and developed domestically by engineering students under the guidance of Yo Skies.

The development cost is 75% lower than its imported counterparts, making it more accessible to the general public.

Captain Karnawat highlighted that this is the first time such a simulator has been built in India, offering practical hands-on experience essential for pilot training. Over the last three years, the institute has developed two simulator models in phases, marking a breakthrough in domestic aviation training infrastructure.
