New Delhi: Social media influencer and actress Apoorva Mukhija, popularly known as The Rebel Kid, allegedly caused a disruption at Sabrina Carpenter’s concert in Paris. A video of the incident has gone viral, drawing widespread criticism.

In the footage circulating on social media, Apoorva can be seen recording herself, lip-syncing to songs, and dancing among concert attendees. According to reports, security personnel asked her to return to her assigned seat, but she refused and continued using her phone. The video also captures her allegedly saying, “Main thappad maar doongi usko” (I will slap them) in apparent frustration with the situation.
A Reddit post describing the incident claimed that other concertgoers requested her to lower her voice and stop using flash photography. One attendee even alleged that she nearly struck someone. Security officials eventually intervened, instructing her to remain in her seat as she moved throughout the venue.
Ongoing Controversy Over ‘India’s Got Latent’ Participation
This incident comes amid ongoing controversy regarding Apoorva’s involvement in comedian Samay Raina’s YouTube show, India’s Got Latent. Multiple FIRs have reportedly been filed against her for alleged obscenity in connection with the show.
Earlier this month, she was summoned by the National Commission for Women (NCW) for making derogatory remarks during the show. The commission took serious note of vulgar and offensive comments made by several participants, including Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, Jaspreet Singh, and Ashish Chanchlani. Following the backlash, the show was taken down from the internet, and Apoorva reportedly lost thousands of Instagram followers.
Apoorva Mukhija’s Acting Career
Apart from her social media presence, Apoorva has acted in the 2023 television series Who’s Your Gynac? and currently features in the mini-series Baat Pakki as the character Gunjan. She also made her film debut in Nadaaniyan, starring Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor, where she portrays the character Rhea.
