A huge fire broke out on the Jaipur-Ajmer highway after an LPG tanker crashed with a truck, killing 13 people and injuring many others. The tanker was carrying gas, which leaked out and caught fire, spreading quickly to more than 30 vehicles.

The tanker driver, Jaiveer, 40, from Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, managed to escape without any serious injuries. He realized the crash had broken the tanker’s nozzle, which caused the gas to leak. Before the fire started, he quickly ran to safety.

Police said Jaiveer noticed the danger and fled to avoid the explosion caused by other drivers turning on their car ignitions.
