JEE-Main: Vishad Jain from Mumbai among 14 students nationwide to score 100 percentile.
In a remarkable achievement, Vishad Jain from Kandivali secured a perfect 100 percentile in the first session of the JEE (Mains) exam, which took place over five days in the last week of January. He is the only student from Maharashtra among the 14 candidates nationwide to achieve this score. The National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the JEE (Mains) scores on Tuesday, but the official ranks will be released only after both exam sessions are completed.
Currently a student at Narayana CO School in Andheri, Vishad is concentrating on preparing for his upcoming board exams, which are scheduled to start on February 21. He aims to secure a seat in computer science and engineering at IIT-Bombay and may take the second session of JEE (Mains) in April for practice. “I am currently preparing for my boards as well as the JEE (Advanced),” he stated.
In addition to his JEE preparation, Vishad participated in the Indian National Olympiad for Physics, Chemistry, and Astronomy, and is now waiting for the results. In his leisure time, he enjoys reading science fiction. Vishad’s father works at a consultancy firm, while his mother teaches MBA courses at a local management institute. Although he performed well in his exams, the family was surprised by his 100 percentile achievement, especially since he scored 98% in his class X.
