Join the International Yoga Day Celebration in Balewadi – Free T-Shirts and Yoga Mats for All Registered Participants
Pune | June 18, 2025 – As the world gears up to celebrate the 11th International Day of Yoga, Pune will witness a grand gathering at the Shri Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi–Mhalunge, on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 6:30 AM onwards. The event is organized jointly by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Services, Maharashtra, and the Amol Balwadkar Foundation. Click here to register your name
In a special initiative to boost community participation, all registered attendees will receive a free yoga kit, which includes a T-shirt and mat. Enrolment is currently open via QR code and has already seen an overwhelming response from local groups.
Renowned international award-winning yoga trainer Pallavi Kavanhe will lead the session, accompanied by her students. The program will guide attendees through yoga postures, meditation, and breathing practices under expert supervision.
Thousands are expected to attend, including senior citizen groups, the Laughter Yoga Club, Baner Runners Group, Krida Prabodhini athletes, and residents from societies across Baner, Balewadi, Sus, and Mhalunge.
The event aligns with this year’s global theme — “Yoga for One Earth, One Health” — emphasizing physical, mental, and environmental well-being.
Free registration is mandatory to avail the yoga kit. Organizers are urging all interested individuals to sign up early due to limited availability.
