A two-member inquiry committee constituted by the National Commission for Women (NCW) has submitted its preliminary findings on the rape and murder of a 31-year-old trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, uncovering lapses in security, infrastructure, and investigation into the brutal crime. The victim’s body was found in a seminar hall on August 9, with multiple external injuries and evidence of gang rape. The autopsy report reveals a chilling tale of brutality, with multiple injuries to several parts of the body. Dr. Subarna Goswami, a former student of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, noted that the autopsy report showed 151 ml of semen in the victim’s private part, indicating multiple instances of sexual assault by more than one person.
Dr. Goswami stated, “The presence of such a large amount of semen is a clear indication that the victim was sexually assaulted multiple times, possibly by multiple perpetrators. This is a clear case of gang rape, and the perpetrators must be brought to justice.”
The CBI has launched an investigation, exploring all angles, including conspiracy and police complicity. Sanjay Roy, a civic volunteer, has been arrested in connection with the crime, but sources suggest he may be just a small part of a larger conspiracy. The CBI is working to unravel the truth behind the trainee doctor’s brutal murder. The CBI is also investigating reports of tampering with the crime scene and allegations of police complicity.
As the investigation continues, many questions remain unanswered. Was the trainee doctor privy to some wrongdoing? Was she gangraped and murdered as part of a conspiracy? The answers to these questions may be shocking, and the people of Kolkata demand justice for the victim.
The victim’s family has raised questions about the hospital’s role, alleging they were informed that their daughter has committed suicide they were begging to see her daughter after arriving there for 3 hours to see thr body of daughter. The principal’s hurried transfer has sparked further suspicion.
As the investigation continues, many questions remain unanswered. The people of Kolkata demand justice for the victim, and the state government faces criticism for its handling of the case. The CBI is working to unravel the truth behind the trainee doctor’s brutal murder. One thing is clear: the people of Kolkata will not rest until justice is served.
