Sources have informed that the entire program of the Lok Sabha elections 2024 will be announced after March 13. The Central Election Commission’s activities have gained momentum in this background.
At present, the Election Commission is conducting regular meetings of the Chief Electoral Officers in various states. Regarding the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, they are getting information about what facilities they need and what difficulties they may face.
‘Fact check’ to stop misleading. These include matters like Electronic Voting Machines i.e. EVMs, requirement of security guards, preparation for surveillance at state borders.
The Election Commission team is ready and will visit West Bengal, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and other states next week. It is reported that the team will also visit Jammu and Kashmir on March 13. It is possible that the election preparations will be completed in all the states by March 13. Therefore, it is almost clear that Lok Sabha elections will be announced after March 13.
There is 6 percent increase in the number of voters, while 96.88 crore voters are eligible for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
