The total number of students applying this year is 78,523, but the number is less than available seats.

The response to the central online admission process for class 11 admission in junior colleges in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad municipal areas is low, with only 92,000 students registered, for around 1,19,290 available seats in 343 junior colleges. The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education conducts the online process.

78,520 students have filled out both applications for central admission (CAP) and quota admission, ensuring only those who have filled both will have a chance. The number of seats available and the number of students enrolled suggests that there will be minimal difficulty in admission to class XI.

The application process for the 11th admission round began on June 5 and ended on June 16. Students had to fill out Part 1 and Part 2 by June 15 and 16, respectively. The total number of students applying this year is 78,523, but the number is less than available seats. Students must fill in college preferences in Part 2 for the 11th admission process. If the junior college ranks first, admission is mandatory, and if not, they cannot participate in the next round.

The preliminary merit list for students completing the admission process will be released on June 18. Objections can be registered from June 18 to June 21 and the merit of admission regarding this list will be released on June 27. Students must attend colleges between June 27 and July 1 to take admission.
