An Audi owned by Sanket Bawankule, son of Maharashtra BJP president Chandrashekhar Bawankule, was involved in a hit-and-run incident in Nagpur early Monday. The accident occurred around 1 am in the Ramdaspeth area. Sanket and four others were reportedly returning from a beer bar in Dharampeth when the incident took place.

According to police reports, the Audi first collided with a car belonging to Jitendra Sonkamble. It then struck a moped, injuring two people riding it. The car was driven by Arjun Hawre, who, along with Ronit Chittamwar, was intoxicated at the time of the accident.
