Maharashtra CM urges to stay safe; no announcement on lockdown yet

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on November 22, 2020 held an online conference and informed that the probable second wave of the Covid19 pandemic can cause severe impacts on the life of people. Though the earlier statistics suggests that it only affected people with comorbidities but the current scenario has recorded that even middle aged people are affected largely. Also the important aspect which has come forward are the post Covid19 impacts on the health which are fatal too in several cases. He then urged that wearing masks, observing social distancing and use of sanitisers must be adopted.

Thackeray underlined the importance of staying safe and healthy. He urged that people who show symptoms shall immediately seek medical help at the Covid19 care centers established by the civic and district administration.
