Maharashtra is bracing for intense rainfall over the next five days, with heavy showers anticipated in several districts. The India Meteorological Department has issued a weather warning, predicting significant rainfall starting from Thursday, especially in the Konkan region, Pune, and Kolhapur.

These areas are expected to experience an increase in rainfall intensity.

The districts of Palghar, Thane, Mumbai, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Pune, Kolhapur, and Satara are likely to see thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and heavy to very heavy rainfall in the coming days.
