During a recent public meeting on Dighi Road, Bhosari constituency MLA Mahesh Landge addressed the recurring criticisms from the opposition. He stated, “Let them keep making allegations; we will let our work speak for itself.” Landge highlighted that the construction of a parking facility on Dighi Road would be instrumental in easing traffic congestion along Dighi and Alandi Roads in the coming years.

An interaction event was organized on Friday for Mahesh Landge, the official BJP candidate from the Bhosari constituency of the Grand Alliance, to connect with residents and local traders along the Dighi Road area. Landge met with citizens in Gawlinagar and traders near Hari Om Sweet Chowk. The walk concluded at former councilor Sagar Gawli’s public outreach office near Alandi Road via Sambhajinagar.

At the event, MLA Landge shared plans to reduce congestion on the Alandi and Dighi Roads by establishing a multi-level parking facility near Sakubai Gabaji Gawli Garden. This facility aims to tackle the problem of vehicles parked along roadsides due to a lack of designated parking areas, which has been causing traffic jams in the area. The parking facility will be named after Dnyaneshwar Sopan Gawli, an esteemed figure from the local Gawli family.

Landge assured, “This parking facility will provide an authorized space for drivers to park, alleviating the parking problem significantly.” Emphasizing his dedication over the past ten years, he added that such projects are his response to opposition criticism.

Local traders and youth expressed their strong support for the Grand Alliance, citing Landge’s efforts in handling issues like property tax relief, which benefited thousands of property owners in the city. Citizens affirmed their commitment to voting for Landge on November 20 by pressing the lotus symbol on the ballot.

“The Dighi and Alandi Roads are vital links for residents commuting to areas like Charholi, Alandi, Chakan, Vishrantwadi, Yerwada, and Pune, as well as to Bhosari MIDC and Pimpri-Chinchwad. This parking facility will help alleviate the traffic congestion affecting these crucial connecting routes.”
