Major Setback for Sharad Pawar Faction: Ajit Gawhane and 37 Former Corporators Rejoin Ajit Pawar’s NCP
Bhosari, Pune – In a significant political development, the Sharad Pawar-led NCP faction has suffered a major blow as senior leader from Bhosari Assembly constituency, Ajit Gawhane, along with 37 former corporators and key office-bearers, has returned to Ajit Pawar’s Nationalist Congress Party.
Ajit Gawhane had previously joined Sharad Pawar’s NCP along with his group of corporators during the Assembly elections. However, with the upcoming municipal elections around the corner, he has now rejoined Ajit Pawar’s camp in a strategic political move.
