Man brutally murdered in Phursungi; Hadapsar Police arrest 6 accused

Pune: A person from Shewalewadi was murdered in Phursungi on  December 12. The Hadapsar Police have arrested 6 accused, while others are on the run. The victim is identified as Abhishek Bhosle.

As per information from the daily crime report (DCR) shared by R Raja, Deputy Commissioner of Pune (Zone 5), on December 12 at around 21:55, under a Peepal tree on the road from Phursungi to Chandwadi, the complainant’s uncle Abhishek Bhosle was settling a minor dispute with a co-accused Vilas Sakat. 

However, Vilas Sakat, along with his two brothers Kailas Sakat and Sachin Sakat, and 7 to 8 unknown persons started beating Abhishek Bhosale and the complainant Atharva Sable with punches, kicks, and stones. 

Also, co-accused Vilas Sakat, Kailas Sakat, and Sachin Sakat assaulted Abhishek Bhosle with iron-edged weapons and stones in which Abhishek Bhosle died.

Hence, Atharva Sable has registered a case with the Hadapsar Police under Sections 302, 323, 143, 145, 148, 149, 504, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Police have arrested accused Vilas Sakat, Kailas Sakat, Sachin Sakat, Prashant Rakhpasare, Dnyaneshwar Rakhpasare, Pramod Rakhpasare and are on the lookout for the remaining people.

Rahul Shevale, Former Deputy Sarpanch of Shewalewadi Grampanchayat, had submitted a request to the police regarding catching the responsible persons behind this soon.
