What is an Onion Bomb?
An onion bomb is a high-intensity firecracker shaped like an onion, popular in the market during Diwali. Known for its loud, high-decibel blast and bright flash, its explosive power can resemble that of a small dynamite or improvised explosive device (IED).
Due to its potential to cause serious harm, officials have issued warnings against its use, highlighting the significant risk it poses to public safety.
