Pune, November 1, 2024: Chinchwad constituency in Pune district has the highest number of differently-abled voters, totaling 12,101, while Maval constituency has the lowest with 1,689, according to District Collector and Election Officer Dr. Suhas Divase.

Across the district’s 21 constituencies, there are 90,134 differently-abled voters, including those with physical disabilities, hearing impairments, visual impairments, and other conditions. Other counts of differently-abled voters in key constituencies include Junnar with 1,917, Ambegaon with 2,776, Khed-Alandi with 3,612, and Bhor with 6,080, among others.

To support these voters, all polling stations will provide facilities such as ramps, adequate wheelchairs, transportation options, dedicated queues, Braille materials, sign language interpreters for the hearing impaired, and assistants. Additionally, Form 12-D allows voters to cast ballots from home. Constituency-specific facilities will be available through the ‘Saksham’ app, and further assistance is available via the helpline number 9226363002.
