A passenger on an IndiGo flight was left disappointed after booking a window seat only to find no window beside him. The incident, shared on social media, quickly went viral, prompting IndiGo to respond.

Passenger’s Viral Complaint

Pradeep Muthu, a cricket commentator for Star Sports Tamil, took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his frustration. He posted a photo of his seat, showing a blank wall where a window should have been. Tagging IndiGo’s official account, he humorously wrote, “Dei @IndiGo6E I paid for a window seat.. where is the window?”

Referring to the situation as “Travel Parithabangal” (Travel Sadness), his post quickly gained traction, amassing nearly nine lakh views.

IndiGo’s Response

IndiGo responded to Pradeep’s post, asking him to share his flight details via direct message so they could assist him further. However, the airline has not issued any official statement on the matter yet.

As the post went viral, several users criticized the airline for allegedly charging extra for a window seat without providing an actual window. One user wrote, “Broad daylight robbery. Can you guys sleep well after pulling such scams?” Others reacted humorously, with one suggesting, “Put a green curtain and enjoy anything in VFX.”
