November 20, 2024, Pune: By 3 PM, voter turnout in Pune district’s 21 assembly constituencies was reported at 41.70%, as polling for the Maharashtra Assembly elections progressed steadily. The elections, which began at 7 AM, saw the voter turnout at just 5.53% by 9 AM before picking up pace throughout the day.  

Maval constituency reported the highest turnout at 49.75%, followed by Indapur (49.50%) and Daund (46.70%), reflecting robust participation in these areas. Similarly, Bhor (47.54%) and Khed-Alandi (47.43%) also saw significant engagement.  

In contrast, constituencies like Pimpri (31.58%), Junnar (34.58%), and Pune Cantonment (35.84%) recorded lower voter activity.
