Tonight’s Miss World 2024 ceremony, an extravagant affair, is poised to unfold at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. Karolina Bielawska of Poland, the current reigning Miss World, will gracefully crown her successor during the grand finale of this prestigious pageant. 

Marking the return of the Miss World pageant to India after 28 years, the event holds special significance as it is only the second time it is being hosted in the country, the first being in 1996. 

The gala will be hosted by renowned filmmaker Karan Johar, along with Miss World 2013 Megan Young from the Philippines, promising an evening filled with glamour and excitement.

The event, which will commence at 7:30 pm local time (IST) or 2 pm (GMT), will be live-streamed on SonyLiv and the official Miss World website (www.missworld.com). The star-studded affair includes performances by Shaan, Neha Kakkar, Tony Kakkar, and Toni-Ann Singh. A distinguished panel of 12 judges, featuring prominent names from the Indian entertainment industry, will preside over the pageant.

Representing India in this global extravaganza is Sini Shetty, the winner of the Femina Miss India 2022 title. With a background in accounting and finance, Sini Shetty is currently pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program. Her diverse skills include expertise in Bharatnatyam, which she started learning at the age of four and completed her arangetram at 14. Sini Shetty, a graduate of St. Dominic Savio Vidhyalaya and SKSomaiya Degree College in Mumbai, has navigated through various professional roles, including product executive, actor, model, and content creator. 

The event will be broadcasted in more than 140 countries and territories, reaching an audience of over 1 billion people.
