Federation Leader Deshmukh Says, “Rahul Kalate Understands Our Problems, Offers Real Solutions

MVA candidate Rahul Kalate recently assured residents and IT professionals that the Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) will address the pressing issues that have affected the IT sector in the region due to the alleged inaction of the current government. Kalate credited Sharad Pawar’s visionary leadership for transforming the area into a world-class IT hub, which led to significant growth and opportunities for locals. However, he noted that the government’s neglect in recent years has put IT workers and taxpayers in challenging situations, a situation he promised MVA would resolve.

Kalate shared these views at a Diwali gathering organized by Prithviraj Sathe of the All India Congress Committee at Indu Lawns in Kalewadi, in the Chinchwad assembly constituency. The event was attended by senior Congress leaders, including Ashok More, Abhimanyu Dahitule, Babu Nair, and many other MVA leaders, IT professionals, and citizens.

Kalate emphasized that Sharad Pawar’s initiative in establishing the IT park created jobs for millions of young Indians, transforming neighborhoods such as Pimple Saudagar, Pimple Gurav, Sangvi, Rahatani, Wakad, and Thergaon into IT hubs. He also noted the substantial revenue generated by these professionals for the state treasury. However, he stated that due to the state government’s apathy, IT professionals have been left to face numerous challenges, leading some companies to consider leaving the Hinjewadi area. Kalate assured residents, “Just as Saheb [Sharad Pawar] brought the IT park here, it’s now our responsibility to resolve all related issues.”

He highlighted the severe traffic and infrastructure problems that plague the IT sector and surrounding areas, stating that, “The same visionary approach that brought the IT park can solve these problems. Only Sharad Pawar Saheb and the MVA can free the IT sector from these issues.” Kalate urged voters to support the MVA to strengthen Pawar’s hands in bringing sustainable solutions to the community.

Dattatray Deshmukh, President of the Housing Societies Federation, voiced similar sentiments. “Despite numerous promises over the last two to three elections, none have been fulfilled. Our contributions, amounting to millions in revenue, continue to go unrecognized. But Rahul Kalate understands our problems closely and strives to address them. If we want a permanent solution, there’s no alternative to Rahul Dada,” Deshmukh remarked.
