‘My Lord’ – An audiobook written by Achyut Godbole published

‘My Lord’, a book  based on the Indian Judiciary and Law and written by renowned author Achyut Godbole and Adv. Madhuri Kajve’s was recently published first in  audiobook format on Swedish audiobook app- Storytel.

This is a noteworthy onset of a new trend which is emerging in the Marathi publishing field during the pandemic. Due to the rising importance of digital media in the world, Marathi writers as well as publishers have started using the medium of ebooks and audiobooks. Storytel launched its Marathi audiobook app in India in 2017, which prompted many Marathi writers to write for audiobooks.

Achyut Godbole is one of the leading names in Marathi literature. Some of his most popular works titled Musafir, Kimayagaar, Arthat, Manaat, Boardroom, Canvas are available on the Storytel app.

For the first time, his most recent book ‘My Lord’ has been published in the audiobook format before the print format, setting a new trend in the Marathi publishing field.
