NHAI To Remove Illegal Hoardings And Stalls On Pune-Satara, Dehu Road, Solapur, and Nashik Highways
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), Pune, under the jurisdiction of the Regional Office, Maharashtra, has noted the presence of unauthorized hoardings, cables, stalls, and other encroachments along the service roads of Pune-Satara NH-48 and Dehu Road.
Similarly, unauthorized hoardings, cables, stalls, and other encroachments have been found on the service roads of Pune-Solapur NH-65 and Pune-Nashik NH-60. The concerned authorities have been instructed to take strict action against such encroachments.
Starting from March 3, 2025, NHAI, in collaboration with the district administration, local administration, and PMRDA, will conduct a joint encroachment removal drive along the aforementioned highways. In view of this, the public is requested to cooperate. Those who have installed unauthorized hoardings, cables, stalls, or other encroachments along the service roads of Pune-Satara and Pune-Solapur highways should voluntarily remove them immediately.
Failure to do so will result in strict action, including penalties or legal consequences, and the encroachments will be removed by the authorities. The concerned parties will be solely responsible for any damage or consequences arising from non-compliance.
Additionally, in the case of other unauthorized constructions, NHAI urges the concerned parties to contact the Regional Office of the National Highways Authority of India, Pune, for necessary guidance. Those who have received notices regarding encroachments are advised to comply promptly as per the rules of the National Highways Act, 2005.
