Passenger Tries to Open Door on IndiGo Flight En Route to Hyderabad

Pune: In an unfortunate incident, an IndiGo flight passenger tried to open an emergency door on a Delhi to Chennai Indigo flight 6E 6341 on Wednesday (20th September). The flight took off on Tuesday (September 19) from Delhi.
The IndiGo airline has written a letter to the CISF about the incident, which stated that upon arrival, one of the passengers attempted to open the emergency exit door. An unruly passenger form has been filled out.
As per protocol, IndiGo is going to file a complaint at the police station. IndiGo airline requested to assign CISF officials to accompany the passenger to the police station.
On arriving at the Chennai airport, the person, identified as Manikandan, was handed over to authorities of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), who took him to jail after learning about the incident.
Furthermore, IndiGo officials have filed an official complaint against the individual. An investigation into the matter is currently underway.
