PCMC demolishes illegal structures in Wakad
Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation’s D ward office recently demolished illegal structures from Wakad crematorium to Sukhwani Petrol pump and Mumbai Bangalore Highway to Tathawade recently. Over 54 tin sheds were razed during the drive. The total area of 1,88,000 square feet was razed in the drive. The demolition drive was held under the guidance of Jeetendra Wagh, additional commissioner zone 2, Makrand Nikam, city engineer, Sunil Bhagwani, executive engineer, building construction department. Umakant Gaikwad, ward officer, D ward office, Sanjay Tupsakhare, engineer, Vijay Bhojane, city engineer, Nitin Nimbalkar, Manali Swami, Vandana More, Sushil Lavate and police personnel.
