Two gates along the Satara-Sangli railway line are set to undergo repair work, leading to temporary closure and disruption of vehicular traffic.
Starting from 6 pm on May 8 until 6 pm on May 9, Gate No. 126 situated between Nandra-Sangli stations, under the Pune railway division, will remain closed for road traffic. To mitigate the inconvenience, commuters can utilize the subway as an alternative route during this period.


Similarly, Gate No. 119, located between Bhilwadi-Nandre station, will be closed for road traffic from 6 pm on May 9 to 6 pm on May 10. For the duration of this closure, an alternate route has been designated for road traffic. Commuters are advised to take the route via 5th Mile-Bhilwadi Station-Chitale Dairy-Patil Mala-Vasgade.


Railway authorities have informed the public about these closures to ensure minimal disruption and provide suitable alternatives for transportation. The repair work aims to maintain the safety and efficiency of the railway infrastructure.


During the specified periods, commuters are urged to plan their journeys accordingly and follow the designated alternate routes to avoid any inconvenience caused by the temporary closures.
