PCMC penalizes two medical professionals of Rs 70,000 for dumping bio-medical waste on road

PCMC to take accessibility assessment for 65 government buildings

Pune : The Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) has recently penalized two medical professionals with a fine of Rs 70,000 for the improper disposal of biomedical solid waste along the stretch from River Residency to Koloshi Road. Additionally, a businessman has been fined Rs 10,000 for the detection of dengue larvae.
Under the guidance of Assistant Commissioner Anna Bodde, Assistant Health Officer Tanaji Date, Health Inspector Vaibhav Gholve, and Amar Suryavanshi, a dedicated team successfully carried out the operation in the Chikhali Moshi area on Thursday.
In light of these incidents, Shekhar Singh, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner has urged all citizens to refrain from dumping garbage on the roads, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a clean and beautiful city.
Furthermore, Mangalam Clinic Chikhli and Shree Samarth Clinic Moshi have each been fined Rs 35,000 for their involvement in these violations.
