Permanent Increase in Train Coaches from August 12 in Pune To Howrah, Saharsa and CSMT Howrah Express

Starting August 12, 2023, passengers can anticipate a sustained enhancement in travel experience as the number of coaches for specific train services undergoes a permanent increase, providing greater capacity and improved comfort.

Pune-Saharsa Express (Train No. 20821/22): The Pune-Saharsa Express will now feature a total of 22 Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches, up from the previous count of 21. Notably, this expansion incorporates an additional coach in the 3rd AC (3A) category, ensuring a more commodious and enjoyable journey for passengers.

Pune-Howrah Express (Train No. 12221/22): Travellers aboard the Pune-Howrah Express are poised for a more refined travel experience with the permanent augmentation of coach count from 19 LHB coaches to 20. This upgrade encompasses the inclusion of an extra 2nd AC coach, effectively boosting the train’s overall capacity and ensuring seamless travel.

CSMT-Howrah Express (Train 12261/62): In a commendable initiative aimed at enriching travel convenience, the CSMT-Howrah Express will undergo an increase in the number of coaches, transitioning from 19 LHB coaches to 20. This extension encompasses the addition of an extra 2nd AC (2A) coach, further elevating passenger comfort and satisfaction.
