Pimpri : PCMC survey reveals that 39 vehicle washing centers have unauthorised water connections
In a survey that was conducted recently, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation found out that the 39 vehicle washing centers were having unauthorised water connections. Out of 39, water connections of 36 centers have been disconnected. The survey revealed that there are 387 centers in the city running in different parts.Â
Over 290 washing centers are running on borewells in the city. PCMC now plans to collect tax from these centers who have failed to pay the taxes and also for using water without authorised connections.Â
Stern action will also be taken against the meter inspectors if found guilty. There are 38 centers which have authorized commercial water connections for using water.
