Pune: A lot of speculations & opinions have begun to float about Prime Minister Narendra Modi contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from the Pune constituency.

As per information, the central government announced on Thursday that a 5-day special session of Parliament is being convened from September 18 to 22. Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi has made this announcement through social networking sites and since the purpose behind this special session has not been clarified, widespread discussions are seen among people on social media. There is talk of calling this session for ‘One country, one election’, Uniform Civil Code and Bills related to reservation for women.

According to one such possibility, it is being expressed that the Lok Sabha elections will be held before the end of this year. Against this background, the discussion of Prime Minister Narendra Modi directly contesting elections from Pune has also started in the politics of the state.

In the background of the special session suddenly called by the central government, the possibility that the Lok Sabha elections will be held before the deadline, the news that the report of the BJP’s committee reviewing the Lok Sabha elections has been sent to the seniors was discussed in the political circles of the state.

After Uttar Pradesh, Modi’s mission will be Maharashtra, which has also become a point of discussion amongst many.

If PM Modi contests Lok Sabha elections from Pune, BJP will be more active in Maharashtra. If Modi fights from Pune, the Mahavikas Aghadi will have a strong fight. It was also said that the Lok Sabha seats of BJP and allied parties in Maharashtra will increase.
