Pune, November 15: Postal voting has commenced in the Pune Cantonment Assembly constituency for officials and personnel engaged in election duty or essential services. The process will continue until November 19, as announced by Election Officer Siddharth Bhandare.

With state assembly elections scheduled for Wednesday, November 20, postal voting ensures that government officials, police, and employees assigned election duty can exercise their voting rights without disruption. This facility has been arranged in every assembly constituency to prevent those on duty from being deprived of their democratic right.

In the Cantonment Assembly (Scheduled Caste) constituency, a dedicated postal voting center has been set up at Bharat Ratna Sir Visvesvaraya Hall, Public Works Department Subdivision No. 5, 3rd Floor, Arsenal Plot, opposite Hotel Sagar Plaza, Camp, Pune.
