Pune : 14 year old boy dies due to cardiac arrest while playing cricket in Wanowrie

Pune: In a tragic incident, a 14-year-old boy from the Wanowrie area in Pune died due to chest pain while playing cricket with his friends on Thursday. The incident has left the entire neighbourhood in shock and grief.

According to sources, the boy, identified as Vedant Damangaonkar, was a student of VIII standard and had no previous record of chest pain.

Police told, on Thursday, April 20 morning at around 7:00 am Vendant went to play with his friend. When he returned at around 8:30 am he said that he was suffering from chest pain. His parents immediately rushed him to a nearby hospital where he later was declared dead.

The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, and many have expressed their condolences to the family. Vedant was a bright and talented young boy who was loved by everyone in the neighbourhood.

Police told that , Vedant’s parents claimed that, he had witnessed pains in the early morning hours on Thursday after returning from playing with his friends. Hence he immediately rushed to hospital where he was declared dead.

The police have also urged parents to get their children’s health checkups regularly, especially if they participate in physical activities such as sports.
