Pune, June 18: A tragic incident unfolded in Ambegaon on Wednesday evening as a 31-year-old woman jumped from the fifth floor of her residential building with her six-year-old son, resulting in the death of both.
According to Ambegaon police, a suicide note was found in the woman’s flat, in which she alleged harassment by her husband and in-laws as the reason behind her drastic step. “The note clearly mentions ongoing mental and emotional distress due to domestic harassment. We are treating it as a case of suicide,” said Senior Inspector Sharad Zine.
