In Pimpri-Chinchwad city, 66 places are identified as designated spots for use by political parties during Lok Sabha elections. However, they need permission from field offices before using these places.

These spots are in the Maval, Shirur, and Baramati Lok Sabha areas. The Municipal Corporation picked open grounds for these meetings. 

Some places include the empty spaces behind the Ambedkar statue and near the Khandoba temple in Akurdi. There’s also the Sanjay Kale playground and the empty space for the mayor’s residence. Others are Madanlal Dhingra Maidan and Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Maidan in Shahunagar.

PMT Chowk in Bhosari, Morya Gosavi Temple’s ground, and near Ankushrao Landge Theater are on the list too. Charholi Bailgada Ghat and Shivaji Maharaj Putla Chowk in Moshi are included. Also, Dighi Juna Jakatnaka Chowk, Dudulgaon, Bopkhel Gaothan, and Ground near Tala in Bhosari.

Open Space in Pimple Gurav and PWD Ground in Sangvi are among the locations. There are four spots in ‘H’ Zonal Office in Kasarwadi and only one in ‘F’ Zonal Office in Nigdi. ‘B’ and ‘C’ zonal offices also have designated spots.

In total, 66 places are chosen for meetings, informed Avinash Shinde, Assistant Commissioner of Election Department to the collectorate.
