Pune Airport has rolled out a comprehensive set of measures to support passengers and maintain smooth terminal operations amid ongoing airline-related disruptions.

Over 200 additional chairs have been placed across the check-in area, security hold area, and arrivals, with dedicated priority seating for senior citizens and PRMs. Airlines, supported by AAI, are providing refreshments, water, and medical assistance to affected passengers. Additional Duty Terminal Managers, helpdesk personnel, and CISF staff have been deployed to manage passenger movement efficiently.

The airport’s 28 F&B outlets, including the affordable Udan Yatri Café, are operating with adequate stock and stable pricing. A dedicated Operational Control Room with dedicated phone line is providing real-time coordination and updates. FIDS screens are being continuously refreshed with the latest information. Enhanced housekeeping teams are maintaining terminal cleanliness, with sanitary napkins supplied in all female washrooms.

To address parking constraints, coordinated arrangements have been made with IndiGo for stranded aircraft, ensuring uninterrupted operations for other airlines. Landside operations have also been strengthened with additional staff, shuttle buses, and traffic wardens.

“Our priority is to ensure every passenger remains supported and informed,” said the Airport Director. “All teams are working round-the-clock to maintain safe, smooth, and comfortable airport operations.”
