Pune : Attempted assault on school van driver in Wagholi; Eight boys & two girls were in van 

An attack was attempted on a school van driver who attempted to attack the school van driver with a sickle. At this time, there were eight students in the van. Fortunately, no one was injured except for the van’s glass shattering. The incident took place on Monday morning around nine o’clock near BJS Vidyalaya on Wagholi Bakori Phata.

The van driver has filed a complaint in this case which has been registered against Akash Torambhe (Resident of Wagholi) along with the minor youth who attacked.

A court case against the van owner had a hearing date of February 6, 2024. The van driver accompanied the van owner to the court. Angry about why he went to court, Torambhe tried to attack the driver with a sickle after the van left the school with the help of a friend. The van’s front and driver’s side windows were shattered in the impact. The student sitting in front was slightly injured by the glass.

Scared by this, the students screamed. After this the assailants fled. This scared the students in the van. As soon as the parents came to know about this incident, they reached the school and took the children home. This incident also spread concern among parents.
