Pune Citizens Hold Peaceful Protest Demanding Justice For RG Kar Hospital Case Victim 

On Saturday, October 5, 2025, citizens from across Pune gathered for a peaceful protest at 9 a.m. in front of the Rani Laxmibai statue on Jangli Maharaj Road. The protest was in response to the horrific crime at RG Kar Hospital in Kolkata, with participants calling for swift justice for the victim and her family.

The demonstrators expressed their belief that this year’s Durga Puja should focus on praying for the punishment of those responsible for the crime and ensuring complete justice for the victim. With placards in hand, the protesters voiced their demands through poems, songs, slogans, and speeches, highlighting the need for action and empathy.
