Pune: Cockroach Janta Party Warns of Nationwide Protest, Demands Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s Resignation
Pune, June 10, 2026: Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), has announced a statewide and nationwide agitation demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged irregularities in examinations and recruitment processes.
Addressing a press conference at Patrakar Bhavan in Pune on Wednesday, Dipke said the organisation would hold a silent protest at Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) on June 11 as part of its ongoing campaign. He warned that if the Education Minister does not step down, the movement would be intensified and expanded across the country.

Dipke alleged that repeated examination failures, question paper leaks, and irregularities in recruitment and entrance examinations, including SSC GD, CBSE, and NEET, have adversely impacted lakhs of students and job aspirants. He claimed that growing frustration among the youth has created a demand for accountability within the education system.
According to Dipke, the Pune protest is the second phase of the campaign following a demonstration held at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on June 6. He stated that the organisation plans to organise protests in several cities, including Lucknow, Jaipur, and Amritsar, if its demands are not addressed.
The CJP founder also claimed that the campaign may be taken to an international platform to highlight concerns regarding examination-related controversies and their impact on students and young job seekers. He urged youth across the country to participate in the movement and raise their voices against alleged corruption in the education and examination system.
Questioning the lack of accountability in major examination controversies, Dipke compared the situation with disciplinary action taken against employees in other sectors. He argued that while individuals often face immediate consequences for professional mistakes, those responsible for large-scale examination irregularities have not been held accountable. He further stated that the support received during the New Delhi protest reflected growing dissatisfaction among students and youth across the country.
