Pune : Congress workers in Wanowrie celebrated victory of Karnataka assembly elections

The Congress pulled off a convincing victory in the Karnataka assembly elections winning 135 assembly constituencies (ACs) out of the total 224. With 135 ACs and 43%vote share, this is the best ever election result for the Congress in the state since 1989.

Indian Nationalist Congress workers in Wanowrie celebrated the victory in the Karnataka assembly elections result which were announced today. Sahil Kedari, vice president, OBC Cell, Maharashtra state shared that the Congress victory in Karnataka will bring a major impact. People have voted the right candidates. With such whopping number of candidates being elected, it shows that voters were unhappy all these years. But, they will see a change in the area.

 Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) President Nana Patole on Saturday said that in the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, BJP will be wiped out in the state, just like it has been evicted in Karnataka. He was speaking to joyous workers at the state Congress headquarters which erupted in celebrations after the party’s stunning victory in the Karnataka assembly election. The Congress activists were seen distributing sweets as they danced to the sound of drums.

Patole said Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra has changed the direction of the country’s politics and its reflection has been seen in the Karnataka election results. By defeating the “corrupt double engine of Delhi’s lies” and 40 percent “loot”, the people of Karnataka have given the Congress party victory, rejecting bigotry and authoritarianism.
