Outrage Among Citizens Over Indecent Act in Shindewadi Area
Pune, July 28, 2025 – A video showing a young couple engaging in obscene behavior while riding a moving two-wheeler in Pune’s Shindewadi area has gone viral on social media, sparking outrage among residents.
According to reports, the incident occurred on the road near Khed Shivapur in the Shindewadi locality. In the viral clip, the woman is seen sitting backwards on the petrol tank of the bike, while the man is riding it at a high speed. The two appear to be indulging in intimate behavior in full public view.
Eyewitnesses and local citizens have strongly condemned the act, calling it not only indecent but also extremely dangerous. The video shows the woman with her face covered in a scarf while engaging in inappropriate conduct with the rider.
The act, captured on camera and widely circulated online, has led to calls for strict action from Pune Police. Residents have expressed concern over the growing trend of such reckless and vulgar stunts on public roads, demanding increased patrolling and surveillance to curb such behavior.
Pune Police are expected to take cognizance of the viral video and initiate action under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and Motor Vehicles Act.
