Pune Couple's Dream Honeymoon Turns Nightmare After IndiGo Loses Luggage
A newlywed couple from Pune, Sambhav Oswal and his wife, had their dream honeymoon trip to Istanbul ruined when IndiGo Airlines lost their luggage containing essential documents and clothes. The couple traveled to Turkey on September 16 and returned on September 27.
According to Oswal, the IndiGo staff in Pune informed him that his luggage was classified as international, meaning he would collect it directly in Istanbul. However, after a long wait, the staff in Istanbul told him they hadn’t received his luggage from Delhi. Further inquiry revealed that the Pune staff had not sent his luggage.
This incident severely disrupted the couple’s honeymoon plans, forcing them to spend valuable time and resources trying to locate their luggage instead of enjoying their dream trip. The lost luggage contained essential documents and clothing, adding to their distress.
IndiGo Airlines has not commented on the incident. However, the airline’s luggage policy states that passengers are entitled to compensation for lost or damaged luggage.
The incident raises concerns about airline efficiency and customer service, highlighting the importance of accountability and passenger rights.
