Pune Crime: Man Uploads Intimate Video of Woman After She Rejects Marriage Proposal; Case Filed Against Accused
Pune, May 16, 2025:
In a deeply disturbing case from Pune, a woman’s refusal to marry a man led to a shocking act of revenge. The accused, identified as a 27 year old automobile engineer from Kolhapur, allegedly uploaded an intimate video of the woman without her knowledge to a pornographic website.
According to police, the 24-year-old woman, who works as a manager in a private company, filed a complaint at Alankar Police Station. She revealed that she had been in a romantic relationship with the accused for about two years after the two became friends. During this period, they were physically intimate with mutual consent.
However, unbeknownst to her, the accused secretly recorded videos of their private moments. Following a breakup—after she refused his proposal for marriage—the accused allegedly uploaded the explicit content online. The videos went viral on social media platforms shortly after being uploaded to the porn site.
The matter came to light when one of the woman’s friends accidentally saw the video online and immediately informed her. The shocked woman then approached the police, leading to an FIR against Kulkarni.
The incidents reportedly took place between December 30, 2023, and May 12, 2025. Police have registered a case and begun an investigation by the police officials.
